At this point I thought I was done, but that wasn't enough. The legs were changed to be a series of rocks that could form together or disperse to give it less of a human aspect. In the center of the stomach is a swirling void instead of more material, a void into which all particles that float around Chaos go into and come out of. All over the skin are stars which can come off and twirl around Chaos. The stones are meant to represent the solid matter that Chaos forms, while the shifting black spacial skin is meant to represent unformed material. The arms were given rocky shoulder pads and gauntlets as well as a crown, necklace, and other pointed stones all over the body. I removed the simple hair that Chaos had and split it into misty strands that floated off of the head randomly. Both are vast and unknown and terrifying, and that's just what Chaos represents. While the personification of nothingness doesn't generally equate to space, it relates quite well. I eventually started to include rocks and more creepy/eerie void-like things to give Chaos the feel of deep space. I didn't want it to end just like that so I took a few hours and such to reflect on the design and what I could change. Chaos's first incarnation was extremely similar to Sol's design, so much so that it was basically a Sol skin. Visually, Chaos does not resemble any other gods anymore. She is considered a goddess of fate which could be equated with Ananke, the personification of fate and necessity and wife of Chronos. In a final telling of the myth, Chaos is a goddess who gives birth to all other gods, a space mom if you will. In a different story, the gods Chronos and Ananke came before Chaos and Chaos was the son of them, being given a sex for the first time. The realm of Chaos was gloomy and dark and underground, the lower atmosphere to the earth. The word "Chaos" itself means a void, chasm, or gap, which then equates Chaos with a realm of the same name. One side of the Chaos myth places it as the empty nexus from which all life sprang, the first life forms being Gaia, Tartarus, Nyx, Erebus, and Eros. The myth of Chaos changes around just like all myths do. This classification places Chaos as the highest ranking and most powerful Greek deity there is. Chaos is the Greek personification of nothingness and emptiness, said to be the creator of all things in the universe.I hope you guys will enjoy it because it's now my most complete concept! BACKGROUND Below I will go completely in-depth on how i got to the design and kit and all that I came up with for this god. For those of you who haven't seen or haven't been following this concept, I've been waiting to get the 3D model finished so I can start my second chapter of the Smite: Revenge comic. I can finally say that this concept is 100% complete! It's taken a long time to get to this point and I'm pleased with the results I've come to.
